In May 2003, Malcolm Young accepted the Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Service to Australian Music. Then the song "Money Talks" ranked in the top 23 of US Billboard charts: their highest charting single. In February 2008, a life-sized statue of Bon Scott. In January 2010, ACDC was awarded their first Grammy for "Best Hard Rock Performance." Along with that Grammy, the band was nominated for Best Rock Album of the year. The badn began to grow as a whole and thus, the band was able to make more concerts and travel throughout the world to become widely known. Had it not been for the perseverance of the band members, AC/DC would have never left Australia and they would have remained a local band without the praisal that they deserve.
